Parks Victoria Accessible Walks
Many wonderful locations around Victoria are managed by Parks Victoria. There are an ever increasing number of accessible walks at these sites - available for everyone to enjoy. The following accessible walks have been audited, photographed and described in Plain English by Victoria Walks. People with disability, their families and carers can now make informed decisions about which of these walks are suitable for them to visit, walk or roll.

Albert Park Lake Accessible Walk The calming lake, the waterbirds and the other people enjoying this wide green parkland make this a very pleasant walk or roll.
Brambuk Wetland Accessible Walk, Halls Gap Walking or rolling around the Fyans Valley wetland and the gardens of Brambuk Cultural Precinct is a great way to sample the beauty of the Grampians close to Halls Gap.
Brimbank Park Oval Accessible Walk For mobility aid users seeking a less busy Brimbank Park experience, this alternative to the Cafe to the Weir walk is just the ticket. Sealed paths take you to BBQs, picnics areas, the river and back.
Bushland Circuit Accessible Walk,Yarra Bend Park, Kew Yarra Bend is a Parks Victoria accessible gem. Walk or roll Studley Park's beautiful Bushland Circuit for woodland wildlife, riverside forest greenery and the fresh smell of eucalyptus in the air.
Cafe to the Weir, Brimbank Park Accessible Walk Brimbank Park has wide green spaces beside the Maribyrnong River in a deep gorge. You will walk or roll to the river next to giant River Red Gums.
The Channel Track Accessible Walk, Lysterfield This delightful accessible track is for walking or rolling. It follows an old water channel through the lovely bushland of south east Melbourne's Churchill National Park.
Jells Park Lake Accessible Walk, Wheelers Hill This big park is a great place to walk or roll. There are leafy picnic areas to enjoy, bushland areas to walk through and a lake to see.
Karkarook Park Accessible Walk Here is a great walk or roll around an old sand mine turned into a lake. Follow wide paths to a ramped lookout and jetties on the lake. People like to fish here and use quiet boats on the water.
Logan Park Track Accessible Walk Lysterfield Park has beautiful forest that can be enjoyed while walking or rolling along Logan Park Track. Kangaroos lounge on the edges of the track and woodland birds call and fly overhead.
Lysterfield Park Visitor Area & Dam Wall Accessible Walk Lysterfield Park Visitor Area is a terrific picnic, walking and rolling spot. Add crossing the dam wall for its views of the countryside, beaches and water - and you have a great day out.
Plenty Gorge Park Accessible Walk, South Morang This walk or roll on a firm and wide compacted gravel path encircles a rehabilitated landfill site next near Morang Wetlands. Enjoy kangaroo watching, views to the creek-line and to the gorge.
Serendip Sanctuary Accessible Walk The woodlands and wetlands visited on this interesting and accessible looping walk are home to kangaroos, wallabies, emus and 150 species of birds. Views across the lakes are particularly special.
State Rose Garden Accessible Walk, Werribee South Since opening to the public in 1986, the State Rose Garden has delighted visitors from around the world. Walking or rolling amongst more than 5000 colorful blooms and their scents is a pleasure.
Werribee Park Lake Accessible Walk Walk or roll around this historic garden. View the grand Werribee Park Mansion from the green lawns or across the pretty lake. The large old trees and many different flowers are lovely to see.
Westerfolds Park Accessible Walk, Templestowe Choose the walking or rolling that suits you. There are flatter paths around The Ridge picnic area and a slope to the Yarra Rapids Lookout. You can enjoy either or both according to your ability.
Westgate Park Accessible Walk There is a flourishing natural space in a surprising place, under the Westgate Bridge. Everyone can visit! This accessible Parks Victoria walk shows why giving nature a hand is so worthwhile.
Woowookarung Dementia Friendly Forest and Sensory Accessible Walk, Ballarat This peaceful looping track in Woowookarung Regional Park is designed and built for easy and calming accessible walking or rolling in a small and quiet forest pocket.
